Hi everyone!

We are excited to have you join us for our wedding this Winter.

Our story began three years ago, in January 2022. We met at a small get-together in Bluffton, South Carolina, just down the road from the venue. A couple of our mutual friends introduced us and, after some good-natured trash-talking over the beer pong table, we couldn't stop laughing and smiling with each other. It was clear that at the very least, we were about to be great friends.

At the time, both of us were happily enjoying being 20-something and single, focusing primarily on school and work. Neither of us were looking for a new relationship. However, we quickly came to recognize that the kind of connection we felt was something more and not something that happens often. We started dating a couple of weeks after that.

The early days of our relationship were largely spent in the beautiful Lowcountry between Savannah and Bluffton. Though we were both busy with graduate classes and starting our careers, we were together as much as possible, despite living almost an hour apart. Many late nights were spent talking with our feet in the water at the May River dock. On November 1, 2024, that is where we got engaged.

So much has happened in the years since we met: graduations, new careers, and, of course, our cross-country move to Portland. We are so looking forward to sharing our wedding with each one of you, right where that big first chapter took place.
